Giorgio Morandi, renowned for his ability to transform ordinary objects into profound works of art, once said, “One can paint everything – one just needs to see it.” Morandi’s still lifes, featuring everyday items like bottles, jars, and bread, reveal the extraordinary in the mundane.

aroundmorandi© – still life with bread and lemon celebrates this legacy, merging art, design, food, and charity. Designers have reinterpreted Morandi's iconic bottles in contemporary forms, honoring his quiet exploration of objects. These bottles will highlight the tablescape at the gala dinner.

Designer Participation

Voluntary Involvement: Designers and artists participate on a philanthropic basis, supporting Save the Children.

Design Brief: Designers have created objects inspired by Morandi's still lifes, focusing on bottles or items related to the artist's family table and studio.

Collaboration: Cristallerie Italiane S.r.l. produced these objects using traditional glass-blowing techniques dating back to the 17th century.

Limited Edition: Each design will be produced in a limited edition of three numbered pieces.
