Sport and solidarity take the field at San Siro Stadium for the 6th edition of CharityDerby

The 6th edition of CharityDerby, the charity match organized by the non-profit sports association IN CAMPO CON IL CUORE in collaboration with CharityStars, was held on June 7, 2023 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan.

It was a special and unique event that allowed us to do something good and make every soccer lover's dream come true: to play a match under the floodlights of San Siro, the most beautiful stadium in Italy and the pride of both Italian soccer and the city of Milan.

30 players, from all over the world, had the opportunity to take to the field of the San Siro Stadium (22 starters and 8 reserves). As with previous editions, their selection was made through a charity auction campaign available on CharityStars, the event's official partner.

Like every year, this match gave the two teams the opportunity to feel like real professional players for a day, experiencing all the heart-pounding emotions of match day: from wearing the colors of the two historic Milan teams to the dressing room briefing, the match on the hallowed turf to post-match celebrations!

In addition, the teams were captained by two outstanding coaches and great old glories of Italian soccer: Angelo Carbone for the Rossoneri team and Evaristo Beccalossi for the Nerazzurri team.

At the end of the match, medals and certificates were awarded to all the players and the trophy went to the winning team, the Rossoneri, who beat their rivals by a total of 6 goals to 4.

The mission

The funds raised by CharityDerby 2023, powered by CharityStars, will contribute to the donation of defibrillators to the Milan Traffic Police and the donation of a remote-controlled defibrillator for Trenno Park, for the use and protection of all citizens and visitors.

The Foundation

IN CAMPO CON IL CUORE is an association that has been working since 2014 to raise awareness among young people, athletes and citizens about the importance of knowing CPR and the diffusion defibrillators as a life-saving tool through the organization of sports events.

It boasts the Honorary Chairmanship of the President of the Milan City Council, with whom it collaborates, and has donated more than 35 defibrillators that have been placed in various schools, museums, parks, town halls and police headquarters.
