WeWorld Onlus

WeWorld Onlus is an Italian-based, independent, non-governmental cooperative organization with no religious affiliations, recognized by the Italian Ministry Of Foreign Affairs. Founded in Milan in 1999, it has been working in Italy, Asia, Africa, and South America supporting women and children and the local communities in the battle against poverty and inequality, and in favor of sustainable development.

WeWorld supports a culture of solidarity, social duty and respect for human rights. In the eyes of long-term integrated development, it chooses to intervene in areas with a high poverty index, operating with local partners in different capacities contemporarily: health, education, food reassurance, children's and women's rights, environmental sustainability and community participation. WeWorld proposes creating a solid base for real and long-lasting development of the community.

Each year an external auditor certifies the balance of the foundation. As a guarantee of full transparency in the handling of funds, WeWorld publishes its own balances on its website as well as its yearly reports, which are sent to all its supporters. It likewise observes the Italian Donation Institute that verifies annually the managing processes for the clarity and transparency of raised funds.
