Agropolis

Agropolis is a social cooperative that has been working in the Cremona area in the disability sector since 1989, committed to education and training with supportive actions in favor of disabled people and their families. The Cooperative, a nonprofit, has as its objective the pursuit of the general interest
of the community to the human promotion and social integration of citizens.

The Cooperative manages two territorial day-cycle services: the Marasco Socio-Educational Center (CSE), aimed at people with medium to severe physical and/or cognitive disabilities associated with socialization and relationship problems, who have fulfilled compulsory schooling; the Autonomy Training Service (SFA) La
Prua, aimed at people with disabilities who do not need high-protection services, but interventions to support and improve skills useful for developing their autonomy within the family, social and professional context.

In spite of its contained size, Agropolis has been able not only to incorporate in its educational offerings the typicality of the rural context, being based in a typical closed courtyard farmhouse, but has always intended to offer it to the outside world with a view to integration and exchange with the citizenship.
