Anlaids Sezione Laziale
Anlaids, founded in 1985, is the first association in Italy to deal with HIV prevention and information, and has always been at the forefront of the fight against all forms of discrimination and support for people with HIV.
Anlaids Lazio also operates at a regional level, with awareness-raising and support activities, self-financing itself exclusively thanks to the help of private individuals and companies.
The Association carries out social initiatives to raise awareness of HIV and all sexually transmitted infections and supports medical projects for the care of people with HIV, for the training of operators and volunteers and for the development of scientific research in the field of treatment and diagnosis of the infection.
The initiatives implemented over the years include the School Project, the "Facciamolo rapido" (Let's do it quickly) project for raising awareness of HIV tests, training courses for operators in the Lazio Region, telephone counseling and psychological support for people with HIV.
Anlaids Lazio, promotes an online charity auction dedicated to lovers of sport and Italian football, the proceeds of which will go to finance the numerous information and awareness-raising projects carried out over the years by the Association in the area.
