Building Peace Foundation

Building Peace Foundation (BPF) is an non-profit Italian NGO founded in 2014 with the aim to improve the living conditions of millions of people displaced worldwide. BPF has developed the innovative project Re:Build with the vision to revolutionize the concept of refugee camps and emergency settlements by both developing safer, more dignified shelters and involving the communities themselves in the construction process. To date, BPF has offered over 3000 Syrian children at Zaatari refugee camps access to schools and a chance for a better future. The project has also created over 100 jobs among refugees and local micro-economies.
