Emporio Market Solidale

The Emporio Market Solidale in Parma is a project of solidarity, hope and sharing, created by a group of voluntary associations in the city to combat growing poverty in this time of serious economic and social crisis. Solidarity, the fight against waste, especially food waste, and social responsibility are the indispensable values that guide it, shared by Parma Calcio.

The heart of the project are families who find themselves in conditions of temporary poverty and fragility, who are given the possibility of free access to basic necessities. Beneficiaries can freely choose them based on their tastes and needs in a context similar to that of a supermarket. Almost two thousand families benefit from it, for a total of around six thousand people.
