Feeding America’s mission is to feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and to engage our country in the fight to end hunger.

As a result of the continuous spread of coronavirus in the US, food banks in every state are facing a time of uncertainty and a steep decline in both food donations and volunteers.

Local governments are identifying food security as a top priority after health care response to the virus, and have called on food banks to help develop responses in these communities, in order to meet the needs of the most vulnerable populations (including children whose schools are closing, the elderly, families struggling with food insecurity and individuals facing job disruptions).

With your help, the Feeding America network will be able to meet these unprecedented and growing needs of vulnerable populations nationwide, and continue their tremendous response to pandemic effects on nutrition programs across the country.
