Fondazione ANT Italia Onlus

Established in 1978 by the oncologist Franco Pannuti, from 1985 to the present day Fondazione ANT Italia ONLUS - the largest non-profit organisation for free specialist home care for cancer patients and prevention - has cared for over 161,000 people in 11 Italian regions (Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Tuscany, Lazio, Marche, Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Umbria). Every year more than 10,000 people are cared for in their homes by multi-disciplinary ANT teams who provide specialist care, hospital care, social and psychological care to them and their caregivers, with a global take-over of the cancer patient and their family.

Moreover, over the last twenty years ANT has been running secondary cancer prevention projects which, throughout Italy, have resulted in over 265,000 free diagnostic check-ups.
