Fondazione Prina

Fondazione Giuseppina Prina - ONLUS has a century-old history. It was originally born as a hospice for the unfit for work in the beginning of the 20th century in Erba, Italy, then evolved into a nursing home in 1965 and finally became a non-profit organization in 2004. 

The mission of the foundation is to welcome the elderly and other patients not only to assist them in their everyday activities but also accompany them in their journey trying to promote integration and humanity.

The tools to reach such goal are the constant training of our operators to always keep them up-to-date, the collaboration with other institutions of the territory and volunteer organizations and the continuous pursuit of quality of our services. The satisfaction of our clients is of the utmost importance, for this reason we are always looking for feedback not only from our guests but also from their family members and our employees.

Furthermore, Fondazione Prina is not only a retirement home but has several other services thought for the most vulnerable categories of our society. The foundation has, in fact, an assistance centre thought specifically for patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, a palliative care hospice and also offers day home care.
