An estimated 25 million children in the world are growing up apart from their families. While governments and non-government organizations provide a range of services to support these vulnerable children, few try to prevent parent/child separation by targeting root causes.

The absence of preemptive strategies is immensely costly for children and their families, and drives wasteful spending on band-aid and often harmful solutions.

Hopeland is a nonprofit organization that believes that every child belongs in a family. We want a world where every child grows up in a family with all of the protection, love and opportunities that strong families provide.
