La Mongolfiera ONLUS

La Mongolfiera ONLUS started from the daily experiences of families with disabled children and their friends, people who have realized that sharing information is the first way we can help those facing difficult situations, such those with disabilities. The association's activities fall into two main categories :

- a public tender offering economic support to families with disabled children to cover expenses for assistance, equipment, schooling and education;
- family meetings / companionship initiatives: group lunches and evenings as well as individual meetings in which the association's volunteers discuss specific problems that arise in everyday life.

The association, which operates exclusively through volunteers, has managed to help over 130 families since the start of operations, supporting projects that aid young people with disabilities for a total contribution of approximately € 250,000 through four annual calls for proposals.
