Micro Community: Lions Club Milano Via della Spiga has been supporting for a long time a project as beautiful as it is concrete: to create and to keep a family home for disabled people in Via Edolo, 15 in Milan. The project, which takes the name of "My Home Outside Home", stems from the concern of some parents of disabled children for what would have been their children when at some point they would be alone in the world. With the financial resources of the families and the support of the association "Spazio Aperto Servizi" an apartment has been purchased and completely renovated in which the children have begun to integrate and which they have now lived assiduously for over 10 years. Now, what it really costs to keep it is the salary of the operators and housing!
