Mani Tese

In Italy, Mani Tese ‘s ’Sfide Globali‘ project focuses on concretely tackling the issue of climate change and its effects on the ecosystem and biodiversity, through the involvement of young people, educators and operators in the agricultural sector to promote education towards sustainable consumption and production styles. 

With our support, 23 secondary schools in 7 regions of Italy will be involved in:

- Training courses for educators and teachers on agroecology;

- Environmental education workshops;

- Mapping agroecology experiences;

- Knowledge & capacity building seminars

- Participatory territorial planning tables;

- Social Challenges to involve young people and raise their awareness on key agroecology issues;

- Travelling festival on agroecology

Mani Tese E.T.S. has been implementing development projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America since 1964. In Italy it promotes experiences and initiatives to raise awareness and education for global citizenship.

The organisation is dedicated to implementing interventions aimed at achieving the Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

A sustainable approach underpins their actions, aimed at pursuing social justice, environmental justice and economic justice.
