Trentino Tree Agreement

Starting from 2019, with the first edition, L'Aquila Basket Earth Day has grown and consolidated year after year, becoming a real pillar of the club's activities and an awaited and shared moment also by partners, fans and friends of Dolomiti Energia Trentino.

This is why it is no coincidence that for the 2022-23 season the Juventus club has decided to make Aquila Basket Earth Day last from the first to the last day of its official season: for every three-point basket scored by a player from the Dolomites Indeed, during Serie A matches, Energia Trentino will plant a tree on Monte Bondone, the iconic mountain of the city and the area hit hard by storm Vaia.

The objective therefore, together with raising awareness of the environment and "green" issues, is the reforestation of Monte Bondone by dint of "triples": this explains the choice of the claim "A Tree for a Three", a tree for a triple.

The "traditional" match linked to World Earth Day (April 22nd) will be that of April 8th against Trieste: as usual for the home match on April 8th, the Juventus players will wear special game jerseys, which starting April 22, they will be auctioned off for charity. The proceeds will be used to support the Trentino Tree Agreement project, the fundraiser managed by the Autonomous Province of Trento to restore the forests that were destroyed following the anomalous wave of bad weather at the end of October 2018.
