Associazione Andrea Tudisco ODV

The Association "Andrea Tudisco" is a non-profit organization operating with the aim of protecting the health right of all children that, due to the lack of specialized hospitals in their area of residence, need to move to Rome. In doing so, the association carries out activities in support of public health structures, offering hospitality and assistance to children with serious illnesses and their families, allowing the child to "live and fight" the disease through the welcome and the love of a community. The Association strongly believes that having the opportunity to enjoy a family-environment and continuity of loving relationships is part of the therapeutic process: feeling at home is an effective way to find the energy to fight the disease.

The Association works through six structures for hospitality. Country of origin of visitors is: Italian (mainly from central and southern Italy) and  foreigners, including  from the Balkans, from Africa and  from other countries. The Association is also active with Clowntherapy in the major hospitals in Rome. 

We give approximately 5,000 hours of clowntherapy, reaching more than 10,000 children.
