WWF Australia Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund

Australia has been ravaged by the most devastating bushfire season the country has ever seen. More than 12 million hectares of Australian land have been burned. At least 32 people have died and over 2,700 homes lost.

It’s also estimated that 1.25 billion animals have been killed, pushing many threatened species, including the koala, to the brink of extinction.

WWF’s Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund has been established to deliver support to wildlife and habitats impacted by the bushfires.

As well as deploying emergency funds to rescue and care for injured wildlife, WWF will ensure long-term projects are in place to restore the forest homes that koalas, kangaroos and other animals have lost.

Thank you for helping WWF save wildlife, and restore Australia’s lost forests.
