Vest worn and signed by Tania Cagnotto at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The Olympic kit worn by the Italian delegation at the XXIX Olympics was designed by the well-known artist Arnaldo Pomodoro and for the first time the Italian athletes wore a gray Italian silk jacket with white trousers, dark blue polo shirt and silver leather shoes.
The inscription Italia was created with a series of cuneiform figures inspired by the arrows designed by the artist.
