Shavon O'Day Shields is an American professional basketball player born on June 20, 1994 in Olathe, Kansas. He plays in the position of small forward or power forward.
Shields began his college basketball career at the University of Nebraska, where he excelled with his offensive skills and versatility on the court. After a successful college career, he was selected with the 68th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, but was later traded to the New Orleans Pelicans.
After starting his professional career in the NBA, Shields also played in Europe, firmly establishing himself and further establishing his career in several leagues, including the Turkish Basketball Super League (TBL) and the EuroLeague.
The jersey has been signed by players including: Shavon Shields, Kyle Hines, Stefano Tonut, Billy Baron, Nicolò Melli, Deshaun Thomas, Devon Hall, Luigi Datome and Giampaolo Ricci.
