Capture the essence of your life’s most meaningful moments with the Personal Narrative Storytelling Experience, guided by Dr. Lalith Wijedoru, an award-winning storytelling facilitator and former consultant paediatrician in emergency medicine. Dr. Wijedoru’s unique approach helps you craft three short, true personal narratives—a trilogy—based on a single theme of your choice.

Through four one-hour sessions (available online or in-person), Dr. Wijedoru will interview you, encouraging deep reflection on your life’s experiences related to your chosen theme. These conversations will help you transform your personal stories into written reflections, capturing the emotions, thoughts, and growth you’ve experienced over time.

The outcome of this journey will be a trilogy of three short stories (under 1000 words each), offering a powerful, reflective keepsake. These stories can remain private, or you may choose to share them with friends, family, or loved ones. The stories can either be written by you, with guidance, or entirely by Dr. Wijedoru, depending on your preference.

This is not creative writing—these are true, reflective stories from your life or the life of someone you wish to gift this experience to. The trilogy forms part of Dr. Wijedoru’s Rebirth Reflective Storytelling Package, and this prize offers the equivalent of one trimester of that experience.

All young people should feel safe, cared for, and listened to. But we know, for children who desperately need help, it’s often difficult to speak out.

Every day of the year, even Christmas Day, our unique Childline service – the world’s first ever helpline for young people – is here to help those young people find their voice, whatever their worry, online and on the phone.

Today, two children a minute contact Childline.

Some are going through the toughest times of their lives. They talk to us about problems they often feel they can’t talk to anyone else about.

Fortunately, many children found the courage to speak to us last year and get the help they need so they can take back control.

But this number puts a great strain on our services. It’s only with the support of people like you that Childline can continue to be there for the children who desperately need us so that they can look to the next day with hope and the knowledge that someone is on their side.
