Don't miss the opportunity to attend with three friends the closing ceremony of SAIL Amsterdam 2020 and sail aboard one of the official SAIL ships.

On Sunday 16 August, 2020 dozens of impressive Tall Ships will sail full speed ahead towards IJmuiden with hundreds of fans waving goodbye to their crew.

Experience this honorary voyage yourself and sail aboard one of the official SAIL ships, really getting involved in this spectacular SAIL-Out Parade.

One by one the Tall Ships leave for IJmuiden to continue their route at sea. The trip is unforgettable and offers a great view of the impressive Tall Ships from close up. All this while enjoying a snack and drink!

Please note:

Experience will take place on Sunday August 16, 2020
You wil sail on a beautiful Hollandse Vloot sailing ship (will be determined on-site)
Times: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. (subject to change, exact times will be confirmed in 2020)

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. In 2017 the United Nations World Food Programme provided more than 18 million children with school meals.

In many countries, school meals are the only regular, nutritious meal a child receives each day. Costing WFP just € 0.20 each, school meals can improve children’s nutritional status and provide an extra incentive to send children, especially girls, to school and to help them to concentrate in class.

Whenever possible, WFP works with communities and local governments to source school meals from local smallholder farmers, thereby helping to boost the local economy.
