A vintage Blanc de Blancs obtained from a special selection of Chardonnay grapes grown in mountainside vineyards, situated in the finest zones of Trentino for the production of Trentodoc. Ferrari Perlé is an icon of Ferrari style, a synthesis of elegance, freshness and harmonizing complexity. From 1971, the first year of production, Ferrari Perlé has repeated, year after year, its extraordinary success thanks to its wonderful charm and gastronomic versatility.
2005
The quality was very good, and the pronounced temperature changes mentioned before in particular guaranteed the right balance between acidity and sugars as well as an optimal aromatic concentration.
Tasting Notes
The wine is deep yellow in colour with golden glints and a perfect perlage. To the nose it is sensational, with marked notes of tropical and citrus fruits, well balanced by the mineral ones, in perfect harmony with the gustative base. In the mouth it releases citrus fruit aromas, enriched by a mineral vein and a tastiness that gives extraordinary duration. Creamy and long, it irresistibly calls for a second taste.
2011
The 2011 vintage was small in terms of quantity, but the perfect health of the grapes and their good balance of acidity and sugars allowed us to obtain excellent base wines for our spumanti.
Tasting Notes
It has a brilliant and intense golden colour, enhanced by a refined perlage that develops in the glass in a stream of very fine bubbles. An analysis of the nose reveals rich aromas reminiscent of Reinette apples, mandarin oranges and yellow flowers which, after oxygenation, give way to delicate hints of crusty bread and toasted hazelnuts. The entry on the palate is stylish and precise, characterized by well-balanced, elegant fruit and perfectly calibrated acidity, while the finish brings us back to ripe apple notes, accompanied by an intriguingly appealing mineral vein.
2013
The ripening of the grapes during August was slow, resulting in a relatively late harvest with slightly higher yields, healthy grapes and excellent quality.
Tasting Notes
The wine attracts one’s attention with its brilliant golden yellow colour and its perlage of fine, continuous and very persistent bubbles. The aromas on the nose are particularly clean and complex: here one finds suggestions of very ripe apple, mango and pineapple. With time in the glass, the wine also offers hints of roasted coffee powder, nuances of vanilla and faintly honey-like notes. It is harmonious and well-balanced on the palate. The finish is persistent, revealing lingering, delicately brackish sensations.
