The Cantina Privata Boscaini is an extraordinary family and territorial inheritance, a tangible expression of the values cultivated in time, a collection of “liquid treasures”, to be conserved with the maximum care and shared with the best friends and closest wine enthusiasts.

Campolongo di Torbe is Masi’s elegant cru version of Amarone, with smooth almond aromas, great intensity and balance. Mazzano is an austere and majestic wine, the prototype for Amarone. For both, the grapes come from the eponymous vineyard, which has been noted for its quality since the XII century. Grapes are left to dry naturally in traditional drying lofts during the cold winter months. Grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara.

This lot includes:

- One Magnum of 2006 Masi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Mazzano

Tasing notes: majestic, with tastes of marasca cherries and blueberries. Complex aftertaste with surprising length.

- One Magnum of 2007 Masi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Campolongo di Torbe

Tasting notes: rich, full-bodied and well-balanced, with ripe cherry flavours (sweet and marasca), baked plums and bitter almonds

Bidding Conditions: This auction allows the user with the highest bid at the end of the online auction to obtain the right to participate by proxy at the Wine to Water gala silent auction on the 30 November 2015, where the item will be auctioned. The highest bidder from the silent auction at the event will be deemed the auction winner. The highest online bidder may give permission for CharityStars to bid on their behalf, up to a maximum amount which will have been set by the user. More information on how to bid will be given to the highest online bidder when the online auction has closed.

Notes: The auction winner will be notified via email. The wine is available for collection at the event. If not, the winner will be informed of the delivery costs, delivery can be expected within 20 working days of payment being received. Need more information?
