Two sets of limited edition ‘Artisti Per Frescobaldi’ 2011 Montesodi wine from Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi

The wines of Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi come from 700 years of passion, experience, ability and love for a select territory which has become the ideal cradle for the highest quality wines. Montesodi wine is made only in exceptional growing years. It is produced from Sangiovese grown in the Montesodi vineyard, which, at 400 metres elevations, has always been regarded as the finest at Castello di Nipozzano for growing Sangiovese. It yields a rich, intense wine of remarkable aromas.

This auction is for two cases of the 2011 Montesodi wine, the cru of Castello di Nipozzano. Each case contains three magnums of this beautiful wine, each presented in an oak case. 999 bottles of the ‘Artisti Per Frescobaldi’ wine were made using three labels designed by different artists. Each case contains a bottle with a label from each artist, numbered out of 333.

The auction winner will receive:

• 2 sets of the limited edition ‘Artisti Per Frescobaldi’ 2011 Montesodi wine
• Each set is of 3 bottles of wine, each individually presented in an oak case
• Each bottle has a one of 333 edition label. Each set has all three of the different labels
• A dinner for two at Ristorante Frescobaldi in Mayfair, London

Bidding Conditions: This auction allows the user with the highest bid at the end of the online auction to obtain the right to participate by proxy at the Wine to Water gala on the 30 November 2015, where the item will be auctioned. The highest bidder from the live auction will be deemed the auction winner. The highest online bidder may give permission for CharityStars to bid on their behalf, up to a maximum amount which will have been set by the user. More information on how to bid will be given to the highest online bidder when the online auction has closed.

Conditions: This auction has a reserve price, if the reserve is not met the auction will not be sold. The auction winner will be notified via email.
