Take home this splendid work by Maestro Ugo Nespolo.

Ugo Nespolo, “Jetgun”,

Acrylics on wood

Work from the early 1980s

About the artist

Ugo Nespolo, an artist from Biella born in 1941, divides his artistic life between Italy and the United States, living between Turin and New York. Thanks to his frequenting of the world of Arte Povera, with his contact with some important artists on the scene such as Pistoletto, Zorio, Paolini,... he began to move in a more conceptual and pop direction, without ever removing the typical characteristic marked by irony in his works of him.
From the '60s to today he has made about a dozen films, thanks also to the stimulus given by the experiences of the American avant-garde, such as that of Andy Warhol above all. His fame now recognized worldwide has allowed him to exhibit in the most important galleries and museums, such as the Center Pompidou or the Philadelphia Museum of Modern Art which have organized monographic events.
Nespolo's eclecticism is also found in the most diversified experimentation with materials and techniques. Famous for example for the use of inlay in his works, using materials such as wood, mother of pearl, ivory, porcelain or alabaster... also worth mentioning are the 50 posters created for important events such as "Azzurra" at the International Motor Show in Turin.
