Teressa Foglia is a modern milliner with a serious case of wanderlust.

An avid hat lover her entire life, Teressa took a hat-making course for fun while she was in Europe in the summer of 2016, and it led her to switch careers entirely. After strangers started asking to purchase hats right off her head, she knew she had something special. She designed her first collection in New York City in 2017 while simultaneously setting up shop in Sunset Park, opening the first Teressa Foglia creative studio in December 2017. Now, she and her team are creating Big Hat Magic in three experiential retail locations across California and Texas.

Proceeds from this auction enable A little Rescue to continue to expand its mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals in need; as well as continue to expand its Emergency Fund.

La causa

A little Rescue’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, & rehome animals who would otherwise end up without the love and compassion they so greatly deserve. Our empathetic, loyal and dedicated team identifies the needs of horses and livestock in critical need of medical attention and loving care. When animals arrive at A little Rescue, they have been neglected and abused in incomprehensible ways. Most often, the animals come from deplorable conditions, with their spirits broken and their health compromised.

Our ranch has been described as a safe place of healing. Our goal is to give every single horse the best life possible, and we have an endless reservoir of unconditional love and determination for the animals we serve. We are committed to gaining their trust, as we care for them until they are ready to start their new lives. We help them build strength and resilience, as they find their true soul mates and forever homes. We are the voices for their incredible souls.
