Nicola Amoruso (born 29 August 1974 in Cerignola) is an Italian sports manager and former footballer who played as a striker. He played for 13 teams in Serie A, scoring with 12 of them: both achievements are a record for Italian football. He holds another unique record in the top flight, in which he scored 113 goals, making him the most prolific Italian striker to have never played for the senior national team. In his career he totaled 474 matches and 150 goals for club teams, plus 4 appearances and a goal for the Under-21 national team, with which he was European champion in 1996.
