Associazione Giovani 2017 3P Onlus, was founded in Palermo in 2017, from an idea of Gemma Ocello and is dedicated to Beato Padre Pino Puglisi. The purposes, are:

• Development cooperation in favor of the populations of the 3rd world; to select, train and employ volunteers in the activities promoted by the association; to carry out training and information activities on the spot of citizens of developing countries; to carry out in Italy is abroad information and communication and promotion activities, including in schools, which encourage greater participation of the population in the processes of democracy, cooperation and development.
• Cultural activities in favor of Italians living abroad;
• Promoting in a constant commitment the culture of legality against all kinds of mafia mentality with : International Awards, Conferences, Events, Calendars, Concerts , Testimonies etc.etc.

From its establishment until today, the Association has promoted and continues to support a series of initiatives aimed at the dissemination of its intentions.

The “Dona con gioia” Project aims to support our activities, which we carry out annually:

• The organization of the International Award “Beato Padre Pino Puglisi” which rewards People who promote in the world the dignity of men and especially of minors.
• The collaboration with the Parish of St. Paul the Apostle in Borgonuovo (Suburbs of Palermo) in taking care of children among the neediest (6/13 years old) in the various activities of daily canteen support, after-school and recreational play activities.
• The “Vivere per Sognare” Project, which awards €2,500 scholarships to deserving boys from the city's suburbs who, belonging to disadvantaged families, wish to attend high schools.
