Ismaël Bennacer (Arles, 1 December 1997) is a French footballer naturalized Algerian, midfielder for AC Milan and the Algerian national team, crowned African champions in 2019. Over the course of his career he has played for Arles-Avignon, Arsenal, Tours, Empoli and AC Milan. He won an Italian Serie B championship (2017-2018) with Empoli and an Italian Serie A championship (2021-2022) with AC Milan. Individually, he was voted best player of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
