La Grande Dame è la Cuvée de prestige di Veuve Clicquot, l’omaggio della Maison a Madame Clicquot, che era definita «La Grande Dame della Champagne». Nella sua visione enologica il Pinot Noir rivestiva un ruolo chiave; era infatti solita dire «le nostre uve nere creano i vini bianchi più pregiati».
La Grande Dame 2012 è l’emblema di questa filosofia, incarna la gloria del Pinot Noir, che rappresenta il 90% dell’assemblaggio, con uve provenienti dagli storici Crus della Maison.
