Burt Ward is an actor and philanthropist who is best known for his portrayal of Robin, Batman's sidekick, on the 1960s Batman television series. Ward played Robin, a character known for his red and green costume and acrobatic fighting style, in all 120 episodes of the series between 1966 and 1968.

He appeared alongside Adam West as Batman and Frank Gorshin as the Riddler, and the show became a cultural phenomenon.
