Edinson Roberto Cavani Gómez is a Uruguayan footballer, striker for Valencia and the Uruguayan national team, where he was crowned champion of South America in 2011. Considered one of the best strikers of his generation, he is the second best scorer ever with Paris Saint-Germain after Kylian Mbappé. With the French team he also won six French championships, four French Cups, five French League Cups and six French Super Cups. Before moving to Paris he played in Italy for Palermo and Napoli; with the latter he scored 78 goals in the three seasons played. With the Uruguayan national team he is the second best scorer ever, behind Luis Suarez.
The item was donated by Cavani himself to the San Siro Museum.
