Take home this beautiful Giclée print on aluminium composite panel, 39x39cm. An artwork by the great artist Damien Hirst, genius of our times and undisputedly one of the most valuable artists on the market.

The editions, titled Fruitful and Forever, feature bright, abstract details from Hirst’s new series of Cherry Blossom paintings. Depicting blossom trees in full bloom, the series is inspired by the work of Pierre Bonnard, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh and the Pointillist innovations of Georges Seurat.

Damien Hirst has created four new limited edition prints to raise money for Save the Children’s project “Riscriviamo il futuro” (Rewrite the future), which aims to support Italian children from disadvantaged backgrounds who have been affected by school closures during the COVID-19 crisis. The editions, titled Fruitful and Forever, feature bright, abstract details from Hirst’s new series of Cherry Blossoms paintings, and were available until September 27, 2020. On the market they already reach figures between 5 and 12 thousand euros, and are destined to grow.

Damien Hirst is one of the best known and most important living artists in the world. His works at auction have reached staggering figures, and the market is always excited by his new works. Since the nineties Damien Hirst seems to have gone out of his way to upset the moralists, displaying one contradiction after another, mixing wealth and poverty, life and death, taking risks in world of art and going against the rules that would normally help artists to make the history books or add zeros to the price of their works.
