Eusebio Luca Di Francesco (born 8 September 1969 in Pescara) is an Italian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. After training in the youth sector of Empoli, he made his professional debut in 1987. After four seasons he moved to Lucca and, after another four, in 1995 he moved to Piacenza. Here he really established himself, attracting the interest of Roma, which bought him in 1997 and saw him play a key role in 2001 Scudetto victory. At the end of a triumphant season he returned to Piacenza, before ending his career in Ancona and Perugia. He racked up 13 appearances and 1 goal with the Italian national team.
