Enrico Chiesa (Genoa, 29 December 1970) is an Italian football coach and former footballer, playing as a striker, father of current Juventus player Federico Chiesa. Author of 138 goals in Serie A, he is counted among the best Italian strikers of his generation. During his career he won a Coppa Italia and a UEFA Cup with Parma in the 1998/99 season, also becoming top scorer in the European competition, and another Coppa Italia 2000/01 with Fiorentina. After 14 consecutive seasons in Italy's top league, he ended his career in Lega Pro, winning the 2008/09 second division championship and the 2009 Super Cup with Figline. Between 1996 and 2001 he was part of the national team, with which he played in the 1996 European Championship and the 1998 World Cup, making a total of 17 appearances and 7 goals. He was nominated for the Ballon d'Or in 1996 and 1997.
