Samuel Eto'o Fils (Nkon, 10 March 1981) is a Cameroonian sports manager and former footballer who played as a striker, president of the Cameroon Football Federation since 2021. Considered one of the strongest footballers of his generation as well as one of the best strikers in the history of football, he is considered by many to be the best African footballer ever. He was listed for eight consecutive years among the candidates to win the Ballon d'Or, reaching fifth position in 2009. He is also the only player to have achieved a treble (league, national cup and Champions League) in two consecutive seasons for two different clubs, Barcelona in the 2008-09 season and Inter in 2009-10. Over the course of his playing career he won an Intercontinental Cup, two King's Cups, three Spanish championships, two Spanish Super Cups, an Italian championship, two Italian Cups, an Italian Super Cup, three Champions Leagues and a club world cup. With the national team he won two African Cups.
