Fábio Pereira da Silva, commonly known as Fabio, was a professional footballer who had previously played for Middlesbrough. In January 2016, Fabio joined Middlesbrough, initially on loan from Cardiff City, before making the move permanent in the summer of 2016. During his time at Middlesbrough, Fabio was a regular in the squad and provided defensive stability and attacking contributions from the left-back position.
Fabio was known for his pace, defensive work rate, and ability to join in with attacking plays. He was an integral part of the Middlesbrough squad that reached the Premier League after earning promotion in the 2015-2016 season.
