The Soka Gakkai captain's armband, a replica version of the one worn by Italian former striker Roberto Baggio.
Baggio has signed the armband, making it a unique collector's item.
This three-colored band with oriental writing and two ideograms is known as the Soka Gakkai sash, the Buddhist Ever Winner, a belief that the legendary Baggio embraced throughout his career.
The colors are those of Buddhism: the blue stripe represents compassion towards all beings and the spirit of peace, the yellow one is praise for moderation according to the teaching of Buddha Shakyamuni, far from any extremes, the pink one represents the gifts of spiritual and meditative practice. The ideograms represent the word Soka Gakkai, the victory of the soul before success on the pitch.
