The match, played at the Arechi Stadium in Salerno on 5 August 2023, ended 2-1 to Salernitana.
Federico Julián Fazio is an Argentine footballer, defender for Salernitana, of which he is captain. After his debut with Ferro Carril Oeste and Sevilla Atlético, in 2007 he made his debut in the top flight with Sevilla. With the Spanish side he won a Spanish Cup, a Spanish Super Cup and two Europa Leagues. In 2014 he was purchased by Tottenham, where he stayed for two seasons before being loaned back to Sevilla. From 2016 to 2022 he played for Roma, subsequently moving to Salernitana.
