'Grim Greaper Wrong War' Cardboard Souvenir 2003 by Banksy (after*)

This is a stenciled spray paint in black, red and yellow acryl on recycled cardboard.

An extremely rare item it is one of the few with the sticker "STOP THE WAR".

London 2003, the item can most likely be attributed to the anti-war protests before the Iraq war demonstrations, where posters with various Banksy motifs were presented by the artist and carried by the protesters as a protest. Presumably the panel has been attached to something because it has holes in the cardboard.

Additional details:

  • Size: 55x118cm
  • Provenance: private collection

Please note, these placards do not qualify for a Pest Control Certificate because they are made for a demonstration march and not for sale.

*This artwork is sold after Banksy. It means the work was made by another artist, based on an original work by the named artist.
