This auction is for this red Ronaldinho XI shirt, version from the "Football for Hope" friendly charity match, issued to the Brazilian former midfielder Kaká.
The match, played at the Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona on 15 February 2005, was organized by FIFA and UEFA to raise funds for the victims of the 2004 South-East Asian tsunami. The two competing teams were the Ronaldinho XI and the Shevchenko XI, with the respective captains Ronaldinho and Shevchenko calling up many famous players to play, including Maldini, Beckham, Ronaldo, Kaká and various South America and Asia players.
Kaká is a Brazilian former footballer with Italian citizenship, who played as a midfielder or striker. Raised in San Paolo, in 2003 he moved to AC Milan, where in six seasons he won an Italian championship, two UEFA Super Cups, an Italian Super Cup, a Champions League and a Club World Cup. From 2009 to 2013 he played for Real Madrid winning a Spanish Cup, a Spanish championship and a Spanish Super Cup. He then returned first to AC Milan and then San Paolo, ending his career in Orlando City. With the Brazilian national team he was World Champion in 2002 and won two Confederations Cups. In 2007 he also won the Ballon d'Or.
