Louis Armstrong autograph is featured on a 12x12 inch image of Armstrong, alongside the actor Danny Kaye, from the 1959 film The Five Pennies.
Armstrong signed it for the consignor in person at the stage door following a performance in Helsinki, Finland in the late 50s, early 60s The five pennies film starring Danny Kaye, which featured a cameo from Louis Armstrong, the film received 4 Oscar nominations.
Louis was one of the early stars of jazz, he started his career in New Orleans in the early 1900s, playing in drinking dens and riverboat saloons.
