Daniele De Rossi is an Italian football manager and former player, who played as a midfielder. His career is linked to Roma, where he is the player with the second most official appearances ever behind Francesco Totti. With Roma, where he played from 2001 to 2019, he won two Italian Cups and an Italian Super Cup. With the Italian senior national team he was crowned world champion in 2006, reached the final of the 2012 European championship and third place at the 2013 Confederations Cup. With 117 caps, he is the Italian player with the fourth most caps for the national team, in addition to having scored 21 goals.
