Kevin Johannes Willem Strootman is a Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder for Genoa. He made his debut with Sparta Rotterdam in 2008, before moving to Utrecht in 2011. At the end of the season he was signed by PSV, winning a Dutch Cup. In 2013 he moved to Roma, staying there for five seasons. In 2018 he was sold to Marseille, before moving on loan first to Genoa and then to Cagliari. Since 2022 he has played for Genoa, where he won promotion to Serie A. He made his debut with the Dutch senior national team in 2011.
