Datome has signed the jersey on the back, making it a unique collector's item.
Luigi Datome is a professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics, who compete in the NBA, and for the Italian national team where he has been captain since 2012.
After a fantastic performance in the Euroleague (renamed Eurocup) with Gigi playing a starring role in the season, averaging 16.4 points per game with 5.7 rebounds and an almost 40% rate from three-point range and deservedly winning the title of MVP of the league. He was soon noticed by the NBA, first joining the ranks of the Detroit Pistons and then the Boston Celtics.
In July 2015 he moved to Fenerbahçe, returning to Europe, where he played three excellent seasons with the Turkish team, before returning to Italy, signing for Olimpia Milano.
Playing for Olimpia in the final against Victoria Libertas Pallacanestro, Datome scored 15 points, won the 2021 Italian Cup, and was also named MVP and best shooter of the competition.
