Hackett has signed the jersey, making it a unique collector's item.
Daniel Lorenzo Hackett grew up in the Pesaro youth academy before moving across the Atlantic to Bellflower's St. John Bosco High School and then the University of Southern California where he played for the Trojans.
In 2009, on his return to Italy, he played his first season as a professional for Benetton Treviso. Te following season he moved to Pesaro, where he stayed for two consecutive championships. In July 2012 he was signed by Siena where he won the championship and received the MVP award in the finals; in the same year he was also MVP of the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup, which was won by the Tuscan team. In the 2013/2014 season, after a few months with Siena, he moved to Olimpia Milano where he won another championship. In the summer of 2015 he left Italy to join Olympiacos where he won a championship. After two seasons with the Greek team, he moved to Bamberg, before moving to CSKA Moscow. With the Russian team he won the championship twice, the MVP award in the 2020-2021 season, the Russian Super Cup once and a Euroleague in the final with Efes in the 2018-2019 season.
Daniel Hackett has racked up over a hundred appearances for the Italian national team.
