Matej Vydra is a Czech Republic international footballer who primarily plays as a striker. He joined Derby County from Watford in August 2016. During his time at Derby, Vydra had several successful seasons and was one of the team's key attacking players.

In the 2017-2018 season, Vydra had an outstanding campaign, finishing as the Championship's top scorer with 21 goals. His goal-scoring exploits earned him the Championship Player of the Season award.
