The certificate of Authenticity is provided by an Upper Deck Authenticated representative using the in person 5-step process. Upper Deck is the only official authentication partner of the Jordan brand.
Born in New York on February 17, 1963, Jordan is a six-times NBA Champion, securing with the Chicago Bulls 2 "three-peats", meaning NBA Finals victories for three editions running (91-92-93 and 96-97-98); until now this record belongs only to him and Scottie Pippen, his team-mate.
His biography on the National Basketball Association site states: "By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all times".
