The match, played at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence on 2 October 2023, ended 3-0. Nico González scored the first goal of the match.
Nicolás Iván González (Belén de Escobar, April 6, 1998) is an Argentine footballer, striker for Fiorentina and the Argentine national team, South American champion in 2021. He grew up in Argentinos Juniors and then in 2018 moved to Europe, joining Stuttgart. After three seasons, in the summer of 2021 he is bought by Fiorentina, with which he reached the UEFA Conference League final in 2023, losing to West Ham.
He debuted with Argentina in 2019.
