About the artist
Man Ray, born Emmanuel Radnitzky, was born in Philadelphia on August 27, 1890 to a family of Russian immigrants of Jewish origin. One of the main exponents of international Dadaism, he was also known and appreciated for his surrealist photographs and his contribution to avant-garde cinema.
